Retro, Muted Color Palette – Rising Trend

Although soft, pastel color palettes have been around for decades, what I’ve noticed is an intentional muting of colors with a pop of a contrast darker color in the details. The feel is very nostalgic and retro. It is different from the soft mint, pale pink, butter yellow and baby blue colors of old but more of a grey wash that gives the plush toys the feeling that they are from a different era yet are still modern and trendy at the same time.

复古，柔和的调色板——上升期

虽然柔和的、粉彩色调已经流行数十年了，但我注意到，细节上，故意使用柔和的颜色，与更暗的颜色形成对比。感觉十分怀旧复古。不同于柔和的薄荷色、浅粉色、奶油黄和婴儿蓝，旧的但是更倾向于灰色水洗的颜色，给毛绒玩具增加来自不同年代的感觉，同时又保持现代和时尚。
