岗位职责:
Technical Artist will work closely with Programmers, 3D Artists, Animators, Game Designers, and other Stakeholders in the project. They should be able to solve any and all technical issues related to Art Production or the Art Production Pipeline. The TA should put new ideas/technologies/solutions into place and educate/train the staff in the new tools and processes. This includes tools and processes that are both provided by a client and developed internally.
To achieve these results the TA should have a broad skill set that includes: working with a broad range of game engines and technology, the use of scripting languages to create productivity and error reduction tools; establish and maintain naming conventions, directory structures and other technical rules. They should also be able to identify bottlenecks, such as repetitive tasks, in the pipeline and implement batch systems to reduce them. Finally, a TA should know what to watch out for to maintain constant frame rates on a variety of target platforms.
Responsibilities:
? Designing tools and solutions for art pipeline improvement.
? Recognizing inefficiencies and problems in existing pipelines and identifies how to fix them.
? Supporting improvement/enhancement of processes throughout the project cycle.
? Working with programmers and designers in researching and developing new (technical) game features.
? Checking art content against technical guidelines.
? Assisting other artists in technical aspects of game creation.
Qualifications:
? 3 to 5 years’ games industry experience having worked on at least one shipped game.
? Knowledge of current 3D art production methods.
? Solid understanding of polygon modeling and UV editing in Maya or Max.
? Strong experience with all aspects of Unreal Technology.
? Strong understanding of both Gen 3 and Gen 4 rendering techniques.
? Competence with real-time shader development inside of UE3 / UE4 or a similar tool.
? Strong artistic skills.
? Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
? Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
? Strong interpersonal skills.
? Continuous learner.
? Able to quickly adapt to change.

? Strong scripting skills with one or multiple scripting languages (Python, C#, Javascript etc.)
? Being able to create shaders in a shader language such as HLSL or CG.
? Deep knowledge of advanced rendering techniques and their implementation.
? Console or PC experience with a deep understanding of the limitations of each platform.
? Experience with creating real-time or pre-rendered VFX.
? AAA game experience.
