JobScope&MajorResponsibilities: 1. Beresponsiblefortheproductform,structureandfunction.WorkingwithregionalengineeringteamtocreatetestplanforNPDorSMUprojects. 2. ProductConceptsandIdeas-Participateswithengineeringrefinementofproductconcepts,features,form,functionandspecifications. 3. NewProductFocus-Workswithglobalprojectteamstounderstandandcommunicateprojectscopeandevaluatedesignandresourcerequirements. 4. LeadsDesignandExecution–Beresponsibleformaintainingprojectschedule.Providesprojectupdatesandstatusreportstotheglobalproductdevelopmentteamsinadditiontocoordinatingwithsuppliers. 5. ProductSafety,StandardsandReliability-Ensuresthatproductshavebeentestedandevaluatedforreliability,andthattheymeetapplicableregulations,codesandstandards. 6. ManufacturingDesign-Significantlycontributestothedeterminationofmanufacturingdesignrequirementsbyevaluatingthesupplier’scapabilityandresourcesastheyrelatetotheintentoftheproductdesignandquality. 7. Leadtheprocessesofspecification,drawingandBOMasrequiredbycategoryexpectations. 8. UsesandfollowsthestandardmilestonesforProductDevelopment,determinedbythecategoryneedsandexpectations. 9. UnderstandandfollowupEngineeringChangeprocesses 10. InvolvementinProduction-Supportsmanufacturingbyevaluatingandreportingonthepre-productionandthestartofmassproductionofnewproductsandtheredesignedelementsofexistingproducts.Initiatesengineeringchangeordersbasedonchangestobeprocessed. 11. AssistQualityAssuranceandReliabilityEngineeringbyhelpingtoindentifyandcommunicatecriticaltoqualityrequirementsandreviewingmanufacturingcontrolprocesses. 12.
